I'm herewith attaching a Goal setting tool prepared in excel sheet and also a PPT on Goal setting (ppt is used for training on goalsetting ) and the excel sheet as an aid to set and manage personal and career goals.

Hi CV,
Thanks for sharing a nice PPT on goal setting. It can be enriched if you add the component of SWOT before setting the goal & Action plan component after setting the goal. It would be more interesting if you can add some cartoons & a small story to convey the importance of goal setting.

Just to extrapolate my Idea n following the discussions I had over these details, I believe Time Management and Decision Making is crucial for Goals n Achievements. Its seen that we plan elaborate (lol, as Indians are VERY good at planning) but seldom adhere to it. It believe that Any Aspirant should ask this Question 'WHY' (as u have stated) to his PAST , PRESENT and FUTURE, so that he himself could gauge whether the set goal is really that important, because Perseverence is as important as Goals when we look at the history of people like Edison, Beethoven and Gandhiji.
