Dear Mentors, Which working days we should mention in Half Yearly return Form 22 column number 8 under Factory Act. ? Last six month working days or total average maydays? Please suggest.

Dear Tarsem Singh,
You have to mention only working days for the last six months excluding of all weekly offs (sundays) and all Paid Holidays which your organisation given to employees.
e.g. Working Days = Total Days of last six months - (All Weekly offs + All Paid Holidays)
I think it is enough.

dear, in that column you have to only write the actual working days. means you have to count the all days in which working has been done either they are weekly off or they paid holiday.

Dear O. B. Gautam
We can not count the Weekly Offs and Paid Holidays in working days. It is compulsary for any organization to give weekly off and paid holiday to all its workers/ employees.
If workers / employee worked on any WO or PH, company has to pay them as OverTime and not as normal working day.
Thanks & Regards

i think if working day continue in any WO/PH and its compensate then it will be count as a working day.
total working days = how many days factory has run.
i am not saying about OT, but due to some production planing or any other reason if factory has worked on WO/PH and same has been compensate then WO/PH will count as a working days.
