Hello Seniors
pls help

in case of SECURITY GUARDs the Central Minimum wages are 609 (area c)
pls confirm the monthly rate is it :-
609* 31 = 18879
609* 30 = 18270
609* 26 = 15834.

in all the above cases how to deal with Paid weekly off (rest day) ?

mandatory compliances for labour laws & other laws ( central sphere)

if we take per day rate or we have to take monthly rates

Dear Mr Gaurav,

609* 26 = 15834 (This is correct monthly rate, exclusive of W/off).

The Paid Weekly off should be paid should be treated as OT. Which is supposed to be paid @ twice of the rate (Rs 609*2).

There are various mandatory compliance (under central sphere). You have to check which apply to your establishment or share more detail, so that senior can suggest their views.

For OT you should consider Rs. 609 as daily rates, however the monthly salary should be Rs. 15834 (calculated for 26 days exclusive of applicable w/offs). Don’t consider the monthly wages on basis of days basis, it causes troubles (25, 26 or 27 days in different months, basis of Sunday/rotational Weekly off).
