Hi Experts,
I came across one word "PI test" in selection process.I guess which is about the personal characters and behaviours about the what they think about themselves and what are the traits expected to act by others.
Please tell me about the PT test and how do we evaluate this.

Hello friend,
PI stands for "PREDICTIVE INDEX" This is psychometric analysis where an individuals basic nature ( self) and what he perceives from the environment ( self image) is mapped. It gives lot of insight into understanding a persons motivation and psychology. It measures a person on four aspects:
1. Dominance/ Action orientation/Result orientation
2. Introversion/ Extroversion
3. Pace/Speed of action
4. Detail Orientation
This is somewhat similar to "Thomas Profiling" where we have Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Control as the four factors considered.
It needs to be emphasized here that these analysis tool are for understanding a person - a person may be suitable for a job based on his knowledge, experience and skills although he may not exactly match the PI profile one ideally may expect. So it these tools are generally not termed as "Test".
