G.P.A. is stands for Group Personal Accident.
G.M.C. is stands for Group Medical Coverage.
GPA Policy will covers employees who are on duty. (i.e. started from residence to reached to residence, and the meantime is for the purpose of on duty). If this period any accident happens, which results death or injuries, the policy benefits can be availed. If any accident happens in non duty period for example after reaching the home or on leave period the policy benefits can not be availed.
GMC is nothing but a Mediclaim policy. The individual can avail the benefit of this poiicy at any time in case of any accident. But no death benefit is available in this policy.
If any doubt can reply.
Regards.

The explanation of GPA is incorrect. All accidents are covered irrespective of the person being at work or not. However, accidents due to adventure sports (paragliding, mountaineering etc), or if a person is involved in an illegal activity e.g. driving without a license, under influence of alcohol is not covered.
The GPA pays for disability or death due to accident as a percentage of the Cover amount. There is also a weekly compensation for loss of pay (away from work) due to accident. This is a lumpsum pay-out.
The GMC reimburses expenses towrds hospitalization and covered medical expenses related to hospitalization
