Hi Everyone,
I have recently qualified as Chartered Accountant and have graduated from University of Calcutta. I have got a job opportunity in Qatar @5500+ All Expenses. An Indian company is offering me Rs.9.5 LPA. Is it wise to move to Qatar or stay back?
Further, I have a rough plan to come back to India after 5 years. I have received rumor that experience in Qatar is not valued in India and if I have to come back later, I will have to start as fresher. Is it the case in real?

Most local companies are not bothered with foreign experience as it rarely helps them in india
However, they do not discrard and consider it fresher
You need convince the company that you did good work and that will be useful to them, they will consider it.

Dear Colleague,
As rightly guided by our Colleague as above, the experience in overseas does not match the Indian Requirement. The Tax Laws, the Accounting systems, the MIS, the Financial Reporting Systems, the GST like Laws are different in India. Hence the experience in overseas is not considered in most of the Indian Companies. But CA as a qualification has its own respect and they will give weightage for that and not for overseas experience. Kindly take call suitably.
