My employer has shown lesser salary in form 16 compared to salary credited in account. When checked I found this is case with all employees in the organisation. Is this good practice?

Dear Friend,
As far as concern to employer's act, let him do whatever he wants.....u should concern with yourself's salary in hand...
is it as per your offer letter or not.
thats it.
If he showing less salary in Form no. 16..its good for you.
whenenver you switch you job....don't show ur Form 16.

As rightly mentioned by Gupta, few allowances are non taxable which may not reflect in Form 16, there is a working for all Form 16 issued you can claim it and discuss with accounts personnel or a Chartered Accountant to have clarity on the said subject.

You should ask to your organisation to understand from 16 to you and realise them that you know everything then they don’t do this with anybody.
