I got an offer letter, resigned from Current Company, hired my replacement and trained, when I went to join new employer, they already hired someone without informing me. What to do? Please guide.

Dear Ajesh105, But then why did the future company leave you in the lurch? Why did they do that? Please confirm. Thanks, Dinesh Divekar

When I asked the reason they said we needed someone urgently (I was serving 1 month notice & their HR left 20 days before my joining).

They told me that it is hiring miscommunication when I went their on joining day.

They sent me back home called me in the evening and said I will take you on my team - Admin.

Yesterday I went for joining and they took me in as HR Executive, but it seems they are finding a way to terminate me as only 1 HR is affordable by them whereas we are 2 HR now.

I am afraid as HR doesn't share any data when I was told to go and work there. After this I go and ask my reporting manager about the same he told me to meet owner today.

Dear Ajesh105,
It is unfortunate that they have not treated you fairly.
Try your best in HR till they absorb you in a rightful appointment and also keep on looking for suitable job outside.

Being employer I have a different story. I hired an accountant and given him offer letter , I given him package what he asked no bargain etc. and stopped hiring or looking another person. When he was about to join I got message that he will not join because his current company offered him higher salary. It is troubling situation for me to start again the same processor to find out candidate. I refused many candidate that vacancy has been filled.

Dear Col Suresh Rathi and Indu 182,

The problems of "no show" that you face, are being faced by a large number of companies. To tide over this challenge, how a few companies have resorted to the newer methods that I have mentioned in my reply to some other post. Click the following link to refer to it:

The latter part of my reply is related to the discussion at hand.
