Hi Friends, Is a Factory license applicable for subcontractors? They are not manufacturers. They are assembling the products which are received from another factory. What are the license and registrations are required to them?

"assembling" is one of the "manufacturing processes" as the term is defined in the Factories Act 1948. Therefore, if any establishment is engaged in assembling i.e. it will be treated as a factory.
