Sir, After 17 years of service, I quit my job and currently unemployed. I am 54 year old. Please let me know if I can opt for enhanced EPF pension post SC ruling?
I haven't withdrawn my accumulation yet.

Enhanced pension is applicable to employees whose employers had contributed to PF without restricting/ capping the salary to Rs 15000. Without letting us know how much your employer had been contributing, we cannot comment on your post.

Thanks Madhu Sir for your quick response.
In MNCs, both employer & employee contributions are part of our CTC and hence 12 + 12% of basic amount (1 Lakh) was deducted and deposited till Mar 2016. Post which the company allowed us to opt for fixed dedection of EE = 3300 & ER = 2050 + EPF 1250 per month.

If your employer had contributed Rs 12000 being 12% of your salary, then you can get higher pension based on that 1 lakh salary. You may approach the PF office for details
