Hii, I'm working in the Pvt LTD service company. Our head office in the Mumbai. Branch office in the Bangalore.
I'm in the middle of the medical leave. Our Branch office is shifting to Mumbai.
I not received any legal notice. They are planning to transfer the employees or asking to leave. But during the medical leave I can't move to Mumbai.
Please advise me in this...

Dear friend,
You are still an employee of the Bangalore branch of the company though on authorised medical leave and you have not received any communication from your employer about the shifting of the branch office from Bangalore to Mumbai. Perhaps it is an indication that you may be asked to report for duty at the Mumbai branch after expiry of your Medical Leave. When the branch itself is closed for whatever reason, transfer of the employees to some other branch is the only option available to the employer in the interest of both. Therefore, I suggest that you may wait till the expiry of your medical leave. If the employer insists on your joining in the middle of the medical leave, you can plead inability with proper medical certificate.
