Hi all, One of our ex employee left us with health issue. So we held his salary for 2 months(April & May) and processed his PF during his leave days thinking he would join us back. Unfortunately he did not turn up and we gave his exit date in pf as March. Now it has created a confusion and that person is not able to with draw his PF. Can anyone suggest how to deal with this.

EPF is deducted on the actual salary paid/ payable and similarly the ECR is made on this basis only, so if the EPF payment is made means he was entitled to salary ( reason whatsoever may be, even paid leaves are subjected to EPF)

Dear Friend,
1. What exactly the error shows while withdrawing his PF, Please mention.
2. You can correct the exit date, Just write a letter to EPFO on your company letter head saying (Dislodging exit dates from member portal) and submit it to EDP department, once EPFO dislodge the exit date then mention correct one.
