My elder sister expired in December 2014. She had made my mother as the nominee for PF. She was lecturer at a college and after her death the principal of the college introduced us to a person who was supposed to complete the PF procedure for us. Its been one and a half year now, still we haven't received any positive response. The person is giving some or the other reason for the delay.
Now he is telling that my sister made my mother nominee instead of my father and this is creating issue. I am completely unaware about this procedure. Can anyone guide me about what exactly should I do in this matter.

You do not need anyone's help any more. The PF website has all the details you need. If that is not enough then ask your dad or mom to go to the PF office and speak to,the PRO. They will help, you resolve it. The signature and approval of the management is no longer required.

It does not take so much of time to get PF released. As advised above visit the PF office with full details and talk to concerned officials.
I am sure issue will be resolved. Do not depend on college contact person to find out reason for delay. I hope you have a copy of all forms filled with regard to death claim.
