I am working in a company based on Kolkata, West Bengal. Some of our employees posted in different locations in West Bengal (out side Kolkata) & also in other states. We have registered all of them for ESIC in Kolkata. Kindly help me to know, will they get all benefits of ESIC out side Kolkata also, means
1) within West Bengal & 2) outside West Bengal.
If not then kindly let me know how to provide the facilities to those employees posted out of Kolkata.

Dear Chumki,
ESIC benefit depends on contribution criteria. At the time of TIC generation, employees are tagged with the hospital and dispensary under which they usually live. However, one employee can be tagged with two unit also getting treatment or their dispensary can be changed as per requirment giving request form to the ESIC office.
The employee who lives out side of Kolkata who needs to be tagged with the dispensary which comes under area where he lives.

Sub Code is created only when branches is opened in other state. There is no need to open sub code for diffrent locations in one state.

first instance query is
why he IP is unable to avail facility to the dispensary mapped in their TIC? as they have provided their local address and permanent address and mapped with a close possible dispensary, if they are on deputation for few days to other state or other city, they can avail facility in ESIC hospital there, for 1st aid and accident. but for leave and cash benefit or major treatment they have to get back to the dispensary mapped.
We have to keep the basics in mind that the dispensary mapped is based on either working geographical location or residence geographical location, but the local office of the IP should be always the principals local office in one state.
Now please elaborate further what are the issues in availing benefit?
ESIC Hospitals anywhere do not deny the member at any location, for accident and 1st aid, but for regular treatment and cash benefits only the mapped doctor/dispensary can do it, which is based on the residence address on TIC
