I was working as a HR Executive with one of the startup and resigned 4 days back.I am expecting my salary on coming 8th October 2018. I need to know that for how many days a owner/company can delay the salary of resigned employee( in case he is not giving the salary on said date). And what legal action can I take in case the delay happens. Looking forward for your prompt response.

As you already worked with the employer you know better in how many day you have done the full & final settlement of the resigned employees.
As per books within 30 days from last working day the Monetary Settlement to be done. After that you can surely visit nearest Labour Officer in case of failure of the Employer to Pay you.
