My Girl Friend got me in hell of trouble by pointing sexual harassment case on me , but i am innocent , i couldn't bear her torture and i left her. Does this come in background check for interviews private or government. i didn't did anything wrong but as society give special place to girls and guys almost always treated as "not as victim" . I am just very much afraid for my future in private sector.
I am thinking to look for a new job .. but afraid badly. Kindly help me or guide in right direction.

What is the present position of the case?
Is it being investigated or filed in a court of law?
Some companies do ask in their forms details of pending court cases.
In which case disclosure is a must with details as required.
Best situation is try to sort the matter out at earliest.
Take proper qualified legal advice from a lawyer who specialises in such matters with full details.

Hi
If I was the HR recruiting you, I would first have highlighted to my team regarding your court case as the case pertains to sexual harassment. I would need to consider safety of the female staff.
Where ever you apply, the company will think twice before hiring you.
As Mr. Nathrao rightly asked, it is important to know the status of the case whether closed or pending? Taking legal advice is suitable option.
Thanks and Regards,
