I hold a master's degree in business - Finance and a b tech degree. I have been working in a public sector bank since two years. Now bank decided to dismiss me from services on account of inflated rental bills (actual amount 5800, claimed 8000) which i didn't do intentionally but did so thinking rent as an entitlement. Also i didn't know electricity bill is out of rent. Now since i have been dismissed what can be my future career prospects. Kindly help

This may affect your future. I suggest you talk to the management of your bank, and request for forgiveness so that they dont document. In case they document and put it in your files, it will reflect in your background verification each time you join a new company.
P.S. - Respect your profession and keep your values intact.

Advice of Learned member Rahul Chabra is appropriate. Having so many degrees and education and still doing such gross errors is really beyond normal understanding.

I regret what has happened. I don’t want to repeat it. But you meant to say that I cannot be employed again anywhere??

Dear Rakesh,
Don't loose hope. However if the bank has documented, it will always reflect on your Background Check. Rather as informed earlier, beg (yes, beg) an apology and request them to not document the same in your files.

I understand that, but this is a public sector bank. Decision is taken somewhere else in some other state. I rarely get a chance to talk my version. Even after that if they have to follow rules(since public sector). what can I do?? I mean can i get an employement where i could show my diligence and grow in the organization and 5-10 years i may shift. Then it may not matter much
