Hello Sir,
I am working in Central Govt Autonomous Organization. We have hired a Manpower Agency for Security and other manpower staff on contractual basis. The contract period of agency is upto one year which may be extended for one more year, after that new agency will come. I would like to know the medical facilities available to these contractual employees hired through manpower agency. They have been given ESIC whose salary is upto 21000/-. But what about other staff whose salary is more than 21000/-. Please guide.

There is no compulsion or rule but on humanitarian grounds you can cover them on Medi-claim policy or so but to cover them under Employee compensation Policy / Group Personal accident policy to avoid any major issues.

Dear Devnagroy,
As far as the organization is covering the employee for exigencies/untoward incidents within the premises no one would question. So always it is advised to take an employee compensation policy for all.
