Dear Nexusk,
You wish that administration of the company needs to make arrangement for your travel and accommodation for first few weeks. But then you could have asked for this requirement right at the time of interview. It is not advisable to ask for this arrangement in the hindsight.
While travel arrangement you may make on your own, you may ask for permission to avail of guest house facility till you search accommodation for you. You may prepare the draft of the letter on your own and upload it here. Some senior like me will correct it further. Roughly, you may include the following points in your letter:
a) Background information - Give information about the post you had applied, general information about the recruitment process, when offer letter was issued to you and when you are expected to join.
b) Request: - Make a request for permission to avail of guest house facility. Mention the duration. Roughly, it could be for one month
c) Reasons for the request: - Mention here why you are making this request. You may write that you are new to the city where you will join and for the transitory, you need to support from the company.
d) Ask for the details of the Admin in charge who takes care of the guest house.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
