Hi all, My query is, are women employee's eligible for earned/privilege/paid leave for/after the maternity leave duration.
Ex: An employee who has worked for 1 year they are eligible for privilege/earned/paid leaves of that time period which is credited monthly/yearly.
But if a women employee's who has availed/ will avail maternity leave during the year, will she be still be earning paid/privilege/earned leaves on maternity leave period or she would be eligible only for the duration of period she had worked with the company.

A woman employee is eligible to avail leave due to her in continuation to maternity leave. No leave is earned during the period of maternity leave. But leave at credit could be availed.

No leave will accrue on period of maternity leave but for purpose of eligibility (in respect of working days) this will be considered as period worked.

No, employee is not eligible for Earned Leave for the days she is on maternity leave. Leaves are always been counted on physical presence of an employee and on that basis it should be credited. Secondly, employee can merged her Earned Leave with Maternity Leave.
