Dear Senior, If an employee joined 28.10.17 and expired on 29.11.17 with heart attack, will the nominee get pension. We have not remit PF contribution of Nov17 of all employees. But UAN is created on 2nd day of his joining. This was his first job.

Dear Srikanth ji, I have one doubt. If an employee works only for one day, at that time nominee will get pension and EDLI amt?

Dear Abhiram, the criteria for Claiming EPS is coverage under EPF Act & remittance of contributions based on Salary Earned. In this particular case, the Nominee will not get anything from EDLI
EDLI Benefit is paid based on Previous 30 Months EDLI Wages &
Previous 12 Months Contribution to EPF- Employee & Employer
