10 AM to 7 PM is normal time ... now-a-days girls working in night shift also.... better to see alternative in-spite of changing time like vehicle facility to drop nearer to their home .... always using mobile app connect with police and family etc.

Dear MANISHAJAISWAL,
Beyond agreeing to Mr.R K Singh's version I state that as yours is a IT company and mostly you have a unique timing for all, Management may not be interested to change specifically for one set of employee group. IT companies which engage females in grave yard shifts arrange for pick up and drops in general.
Moreover the women empowerment has to be strengthened by building confidence in them to work in groups/individually and tackle any issue collectively or individually. Nothing is impossible now a days.
You have not given the number of female employees engaged. Is your company located in a very remote area?
But you can only propose the drop facility to the Management after making a study on costing as it is a general shift operation only and not rotating shifts. If the Management does not provide, the female employees also can pool up as teams for arranging their drop.

Dear Friend,
It is very difficult to accommodate timings as per requirement of the staff as some women employees have security concern, some may have family concerns, male employees may have different concerns every situation is difficult to manage.
IT companies are registered under Shops & Establishments Act ( popularly known as Shop Act) of each state. This Act provides for the timings and security for women employees. In some states the end time is 08.00 pm, in some states it is 08.30 pm and in some states it is 09.00 pm, if a female employee is working beyond these timings, the employer is legally bound to provide home drop transport with security.
As per your post your timing is up to 07.00 pm, hence they are correctly refusing, if they are not willing to accommodate you then you have to take a call. Alternately you can inform the Management in writing with record that there are security concerns to be on the safe side.
Warm Regards

Dear Manisha
Why we all think that every things should be as per our suitability and as we wish. Why you all did not raise the alarm when your shift was decided 10 to 7?
Still not convinced how 10Am-7 Pm is inconvinient to you may be your personal perception. No organisation wants that empolyee suffer for any reason. If this timimg is concern for all those are working, go tell your mangement collectively. If the timing could be changed to 8.00Am to 5.00pm will not be acceptable all of you. You need to cope with the management and find what best for the organisation and employee.
