Hi,
From my ten years experience in the field, I feel anybody with decent communication skills would be able to do a recruiter's job. But let me also warn you, once you take the plunge into a recruiter's role, moving out of it into another profile within HR will be quite a challenge and it becomes even more difficult as your recruitment experience increases. Getting into recruitments in an MNC is very easy. Unless you're passionate about recruitment or desperate to get some job, don't take it up.

I am not clear as to why the company would want to appoint an MBA in finance in the position of a recruiter in HR. The only reason where it would make sense is if they need somebody capable of understanding accounts and finance and therefore able to interview and decide whether the candidates are fit for the post. If not, somebody seem to be desperate to fulfil his number commitments.
The other side is, why would you want to move to the recruiters job when you have chosen finance as the specialisation. You have not provided us with details of that. Whether you will get work in their original area of specialisation would depend on the college that you studied in and various other factors we do not know. In some cases, taking up a job that you get rather than sitting and waiting for jobs that are not available make sense. however once you have gone into that position, it is doubtful anybody would consider you for positions in your original specialisation.
