Well thanks Ashutosh for reverting.
As such I need to know about both situations :
1)what will be asked in the interview?
2)want to know can I apply for the job in my present capacity?
3) Also what is the salary band that I deserve?

Shree,
1)what will be asked in the interview?
- Your understanding about the various functions within HR.. and contributions. Its good to be prepared on a theory level atleast.
2)want to know can I apply for the job in my present capacity?
- when you say recruitment experience... do you do end to end.. from manpower planning to landing formalities. If not first is to get exposed to that area fully. If yes, then check internally in your current setup and look at moving in to other areas.
3) Also what is the salary band that I deserve?
- Very subjective question. Frankly, one year into service... do not look at the salary.. check what value addition exposure in a particular role can help your career.
Keep giving interviews... irrespective whether you like the job role or not... you will learn a lot (what to expect, how much.. all of it) and will improvise in a short span of time. Though am into training delivery, always a student and propagate experiential learning.
Best Wishes.
