While giving repair work to contractor who will deploy 6-8 workers for 2 months at your housing society, is it necessary to repair contractor to have EPF no. should society insist for it.

If your Housing Society is a covered establishment under EPF, then the 6 or 8 workers deployed for doing repair work should be given PF. On the other hand, if the housing society does not have any PF registration, why should or how can we insist the contractor that he should send only those having PF to work in the society?
