Hi
In general scenario the organisations has to deduct only the employee contribution or both ESI & EPF.
Now a days many companies are following as the CTC structure and in CTC they will consider both EE & ER contribution as cost to the company

Dear Sasmita If your Factory/ Establishment is covered under ESI and E P F you are obliged to deduct contribution from each eligible employee and also contribute your share as Employer and remit both in the respective accounts.
E S I to be remitted on or before 21 st day of the succeeding month and P F is on or before 15th of the succeeding month. Both the Acts give the sanction to the employer to recover Contribution from the employee(s).
