Hi All, Great Day!! I need a support/advice here. Taking up interviews these days...with carrying 5+ years of experience in recruitment field. i took up almost 4 interviews and every time had gone till final round. We also had a talk about expected CTC and notice period. But after that there were no updates.
I still have not received any feedback. i daily ask myself and recollect all those discussion to understand if i messed up something.. .but i failed to get it because all the time interviews were so satisfactory for both the parties. Please suggest why is this happening. Do i need to improvise something or i consider it as a bad fate.
Thanks, Shilpi

Hi Shilpi,
If you feel that you gave your 100% to the interviews then it seems like just a phase to me.
I would suggest you to follow up with the companies you have appeared for the interview and seek feedback. I know strange reasons of HR people not selecting good candidates.
Keep on appearing for interviews and I hope you shall be able to get a better job soon. All the Best!

Hi Atul,
Thanks for your support and valuable time.
I followed up with few of the companies for the feedback, but received some unreasonable response...
Will keep in touch for further advice. Thanks a lot.

Dear Shilpi
You have a compendium of quotes from Mr S Kumar to boost your morale and motivation.
If I may add a couple of more to that wonderful list, please read these.
YOU HAVE BEEN SO NEAR YET SO FAR
A SMALL SLIP BETWEEN THE LIP AND THE CUP
Introspection about a failure is good for self improvement, but it should not be done to the extent of wreaking havoc to one’s self confidence. Failures make a person have a stronger resolve for future situations.
There are many inexplicable things that happen in our life and you should take this one also in your stride. With four decades of experience, I too had a similar one couple of years ago, regarding an overseas assignment. Sometimes we are destined for better things. The best way is to forget and forge ahead positively and seek other opportunities.
