Do we have a plan on how would we work to sharpen our knowledge? Is it only by chance, that we get pushed and learn something, we never knew?
Work and everyday lives are meant to be filled with situations, that we have no clue to, how to handle.
How are working upon our functional areas otherwise?
Let's begin with one section, professionally that's connected to a bigger picture, yet essential to our regular life. Are there any set of exercise we include? Do they result with what we want?
Let's take language skills, as it is basic and often ignored, in the official environment and humdrum of learning. How are we working to improve our language? Reading is what comes naturally, but does that get us better? I read for hours everyday, yet sound flat when I speak. Crossword is an effective way to work upon the vocab. However, there must be zillion more ways, what most of us are involving in our everyday life. Tell us the ways that you consider, for your learning.

Greetings,
Thankyou for your contribution. I bought this book last week, called 'In a Word', by Mark Broatch. This was mentioned in Writer's tool kit. What I loved about this book is, it is not merely limited to picking up a better synonym. How the word association stands apart from characterization, is explained beautifully in this book. On the top, I often run blank , at the middle of a sentence, running out of words, literally! That puts the thought in practice, that words picture our thought process, and vice versa. How I implement the learning I gain from this book, will show, only in the long run. I remain hopeful :)
Here's the book on Amazon In a word
Here's the book as discussed in the blog <link outdated-removed>
