I have been working for a Private bank for the past 10 years. I was always appreciated for my good work since inception with the bank. My promotion for the first time was delayed for 1 year due to Banks policy. I have built up the portfolio to the best in the first three years and was rewarded for the same. I could not singly handle the portfolio and requested the management for additional work force for which the management failed to support. In the subsequent years I could not manage the portfolio and could not reach my targets for which I was penalised and my ratings were degraded and my possibility of promotion was dragged for 2-3 more years. Subsequently i have been transferred to another location and my earlier position was replaced by 4 officers. I have represented the same to my supervisors, department heads and my HR the i was handicapped for not doing the budgets which was evidenced by posting 4 officers where a single officer was forced to meet the budgets. I had no reply for the same for the years. After relocation to a new place, I have never stopped my performance and I have achieved my budgets and topped the region. Unknowingly my rating was downgraded without any reason and I have requested my top management for the reasons which was left unanswered for years. My ratings, promotions were severely effected due to various unknows reasons for which the management is silent. What I can do to have a better career with the organization or I should quit. Kindly give me a suggestion.

You have written summary of the career span of ten years. However, when the your Bank did not promote you, why did you cling to your current organisation? You could have left the Bank long ago. Even with promotions also people leave their organisation between 3-5 years. By now few others who joined along with you could be doing their 3rd or 4th job.
If timely you had understood in which direction the wind is blowing, you would not have put yourself into this unwieldy situation. Anyway, even now also better leave the organisation. But then recuperating career losses could be difficult.
