Dear Komal,

It is automotive industry in general and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in particular, revolutionised the Supply Chain Management (SCM). TMC also introduced to the world concept of Toyota Production System (TPS) which is also called as lean manufacturing. Therefore, inclusion of training on these two topics is indispensable in the automotive industry. In addition to this, you may conduct the training on Quality Management System (QMS), Total Quality Management (TQM) Poka Yoke etc.

All all, your training efforts should be focused to reduce the following costs:

a) Inventory Carrying Cost of Raw Materials

b) Work in Progress (WIP) Inventory Costs

c) Inventory Carrying Cost of Finished Goods

d) Capital costs to run the operations

e) Capacity costs

f) Maintenance costs

g) Quality costs

Workers can be trained on the operations of that machine and first line servicing of the machines.

For further help if any, you may contact me.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
