Dear All,
In my organization when an employee resigns, his last month's salary is blocked and the full credit is done on the 15th of the month subsequent to his separation.
The PF contribution is deducted at the same time. As a result of this, his/her PF contribution for one month is deducted in the next month and the same is filed in the ECR. However, this results in the resigning date being wrong than what is mentioned in the transfer/withdrawal form and the form gets rejected.
Kindly advise a remedy. Also advise if I can enter the correct date of exit in the next cycle itself.

HI,
for example employee resigned on 10/10/2013 we suppose to remit his pf dues on october paid in nov 13, but few company remitted after two or one month i.e November paid in dec 2013 month.
here you dont update his DOL details in that ECR, during his claims attach manual form 10 details and write covering letter regarding his last month pf dues remitted in so and so month thats it.

Your action of paying the last salary late is a violation of the payment of wages act.
The salary of an employee has to be paid by the 7th / 10th of the next month. In case of any employee leaving the organistation, the wages are to be paid in 2 working days from the last working day.
