Dear friend,
Provident Fund, Pension and Gratuity are the " Triple Terminal Benefits of Employment". Therefore, the statutory application of the EPF Act,1952 or the voluntary extension of such/similar benefit by the employer can not take away his obligation to pay gratuity to his employees on termination of their employment under him once the Payment of Gratuity Act,1972 becomes applicable to the establishment.
