Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a central govt. employee in Delhi. I applied to a state govt. job in A.P. before joining the central govt job. I gave the interview during probation period with out informing to the employer and got selected in state govt job.

I resigned to my central govt job based on my personal reasons but not mentioned any job related matter in my resignation letter. However i have orally conveyed the matter of the new job to the employer.

In my appointment order they have mentioned two things are

1.I have to pay three months salary or three months notice period for resignation

2.I have to withdraw any application submitted for any appointment before joining

But i did not withdraw the application and attended the interview and got selected in new job. Hence i gave resignation on my personal reasons before twenty days back. But the resignation has not accepted. Now if i join in new job without getting the acceptance of resignation from the previous employer as the new employer did not ask any relieving letter.

In this case if i cannot get relieving letter from the previous employer, what are the consequences i have to face from the new employer if they ask relieving letter.

Kindly help in this regard

Thanking you

Pls send resignation on personal reasons through register post and state that you are willing to pay the notice period pay. Pls ask them to advise the procedure.

Dear Sir/madam
Thank you for the reply. However, I have submitted the resignation to the employer personally based on personal reasons and orally conveyed the 3 months pay as per the rules but I did not mention that in the letter. However, they did not take any action in this regard.
What should I do now. Shall I send a letter by stating that I shall pay 3 months amount through a register post now.
Thanking you

The procedure is you have to submit relieving certificate when you join a new job if you have stated that you are already working in the central government as you can not be on two employments at the same time: Therefore, you follow two steps
1. Ask state government to give some more time to join on personal grounds.
2. In the mean time expedite getting your resignation.
If you have concealed the information before state govermnet, then it is your decision.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for your information.
I did not officially state regarding my central govt job in the application forwarded to state govt. job because i have applied state govt job well before joining in central job. So that is the reason why state govt. employer not asking any relieving order. But they unofficially know i am already employee in central govt.
Hence can i join in state govt job without relieving from central job (I have proof of submission of resignation) because i have not applied through proper channel and i do not want to take any benefits or pay protection (service count) from the previous employer.
Kindly help me in this regard
Thanks

Dear Sudvij
Its strange that you are seeking assistance to advise on whether or not, or how to and when to join the state government job !!!
On the other hand you yourself are announcing UNOFFICIALLY to your present and future employers about your job !!!
One wonders whether you can keep anything CONFIDENTIAL !!!
If you keep on doing this and COMPLICATING your own case yourself; I have my doubts if anyone can help you. You may lose both the jobs on account of your lack of integrity and providing wrong information.
Warm regards.
