As a principle employer, you have to check the working hrs of security guards. Some agents resort to overstretched working hrs. The guards work more than 10 hrs per day loses efficiency and also against law if they are working without rest time.

Dear Mr. Pon
Eventhough engaging the guards for more than 8 hours is against law, the nationalised banks engaging only 2 shifts of guards 12 hours duty. As a matter of fact, the guards cannot maintain his family and personal expenditure within the 8 hours duty salary fixed by the appropriate government. Even the agencies will pay less than the rate fixed by the government and the agencies are earning the profits. So our Indian companies are to engage these agencies as a cost control measure. But some companies are available in India that the company will directly pay to the guards and they will pay the profit/commission to the agencies alongwith the statutory deductions.
