Dear Ms. Priti.K,
According to many survey's, the estimated leaving/quitting of employees are almost to the one-third of the actual employees. Have you ever made an attempt to understand the reason why employees go off in a huff?
Some reasons why employees leave:
- Many employees quit their job because of lack of opportunities within the organization. The employers should promote their internal employees ti identify their skills and provide training for suiting their abilities to different projects or teams (if required).
- Employees look out for performance appreciation (he should feel that he is part of a company's future)
- Sometimes due to lack of adequate pay and benefits employees stock options to other companies that pay their expectation accordingly.
- Confusing directions by the HOD or the Manager or the Boss having unrealistic expectations frustrate these employees quickly. Therefore, the HR should be aware of these facts and improve accordingly.
- Managers who micromanage their employees show a lack of confidence in the abilities on work or performance.
- Change of work/ assigning new tasks to employees keep them boosted day long, no option at work makes them go low and they search for an option to quit.
- HR has the major role to play in placing a purticular candidate according to their candidature; however human resourcers fail to place employees in a wrong job casing no apt position in the company may pull back their talents and abilities to work.
Therefore, suggest you to do a survey to the employees who left company in possibilities of getting the reason behind their quitting/absconding. Many would will to give feedback ascertained to their reasons but HR is the only one who needs to compile such information and present it to the management for further action.

Well Priti,
what I see is that you have followed everything that's in book. But I would suggest you to look beyond. Put yourself in there shoes. Find out a reason why you would prefer to leave this company if you are offered with a better salary or say with same salary. Look into the issue of employee growth - personal, social, emotional and of-course professional.
A posh office atmosphere, good salary, yearly get-together in 5 star hotels etc. does not quench the thirst for growth.

Well Said by Sandeep,
I totally agreed, if you have every policy in place and intact then why employees are leaving the company without information. It means employees are not engaged employees. If you are regularly doing exit interviews, then pls share what do you find and based upon the reports you need to design retention strategy.
Kindly look into the following aspect.
Employees relation
Employees support strategy i.e from reporting Head, subordinates.
Growth , training.
