Hi,
I have resigned from my job without serving notice period. Because of my situation they considered me as a special case & agreed my resignation. As per my request, they agree me to give the experience letter. They are not giving relieving letter.
My question is relieving letter is important? where we will use this?

Experience letter specifies the experience u had in particular field. Relieving letter describes that you are relieved from the organisation and you are no more employee of the organisation and you are free to join anywhere.
Few organisations will ask the relieving letter before joining along with experience letter.

Dear Ms. Sujatha Kumar,
I second Mr. Jeevarathnamji. Releiving letters are like clearance certificates given to ones successful completion of tenure/ employment with that purticular company. The purpose of this letter ensures the official process of leaving you with full & final settlement made along with no dues on either parties by wrapping things which will not delay further that cause impediment.
Apart from the experience letter this letter is a proof that you are no more employeed with that organization and the new employer is hassel free to recruit you.

Relieving letter goes like this --
"This has reference to your resignation letter dated ------------- . This is to inform you that your resignation has been accepted and you are relieved from the services of (Company Name) on the close of working hours on ---------- (date).
If you check, it talks only about the resignation (letter) given date and not of the notice period. Which means that any employee serving resignation is duty-bound to complete the NP. However, the due course of his NO decides the nature of his resignation letter.
