Dear Dalia,

Could you share something about you and your role in the department (HRD)? I mean, are you the senior one or any executive and please share your experience and qualification.

See, to draft an appointment letter for this level /position, is not an easy job and always demand for a good industrial experience. So it is required to know something about you for our better knowledge and understanding so that we can guide your accordingly.

Generally, one can use any Appointment Letter and modify as per terms and conditions of company/employer. Employment terms and conditions are always remaining the same except few points that varies with position, level of authority and role & responsibilities.

You can go to option "RESEARCH" located at top else at right of the page for RELATED MATERIAL where you can get the sample of APPOINTMENT LETTER that you can use, but to draft an appointment letter for Position “Director” as I stated above, is not an easy and need to understand the differences that matters in this regard.

The big and very first difference of an appointment letter for a position of DIRECTOR to another position is "POWERS/ ASSIGNMENTS/ JOB PROFILE/ AREA OF WORK.

For your simple and basic understanding, let me describe you these but certainly seeking your response about your qualification and experience.

-An HR Manager has difference work and responsibilities with powers provided by respective Management than Manager Finance & Accounts.

Or

-A Director of Business Development or Sales & Marketing having different role and responsibilities, and powers than a Director of Procurement (Purchase).

And

A difference between Power and Duties of a Director and a Manager for a company.

Lastly, if you are new and this is your first assignment with this big position, do never forget to seek seniors help and guidance. Another and best solution is to check the past/previous employee data records of your company for the same profile and position where you can get the old appointment letters.

Dear Mr. Anil Arora
Thank you very much for responding.
Right now I am playing the role of HR in a organization which is a small CA Firm and this is my first assignment.
I have completed my MBA in HR in 2012. I have experience for more than 3 years as a COORDINATOR in financial industry.
Till date i have appointed some junior level employee and legal advisor but I don't have any experience or knowledge about Director appointment.
As there is no senior HR before me and also no old formate is there in the company files.
Plz guide me in this regards.
