Dear Friends,
I have handled many Employee Grievances and Management's (Grievances) in my previous manufacturing companies where we earlier had Trade Unions But the company working over here i feel Bit Difficult where management is directly telling to Implement Anti-Employee Policies where even management does not stick for it as it will directly affect the productivity The Decision will not even stick for weeks time By the Management this has happened several time ago in my tenure time itself......They Revert back the decision and show the management is supporting Employees And tell them that it's HR the one who is against the Employees Kindly suggest to overcome this Problems If we have Unions That will be different Show for me But Here we have Local Domination where the Localities involves Directly in the routine activities which affects the Employees and Give them support from outside the company They do not dare to come inside the company also....

Dear Ram Kishore,

Every HR of the company faces such problems.. Its always HR who will be targeted for anything & everything.. Management decisions will be implemented by HR & when issues arise.. HR is targeted as though Management does not anything regarding that issue...!!

This is because all policies will have signatures of HR people... In future, make sure that the Top Management is signing in all the agreements & papers related to policies & procedures. Then they cannot play the blame game. The signatures itself will prove the employees as to who is to be blamed & who the real culprits are. As all the policies will have HR's signature, people will always be under an impression that HR is ruling the company and HR is always against employees views..!!

This perception of people should be erased... Employees & Management & Other people should understand that HR is a party which supports both the parties----Management & Employees... HR is the mediator...!!!

That's Right Bhargavi Say like if you are implementing the policy you will sign how can you expect signatures of MD & ED....Ok That's Great and you have got signatures from MD & ED and the Policies & procedures have been passed then there is an issue by Employee and their supporter's what way you will react can you show the policies & procedures signed by the Director's and pinpoint their Names???? Think what i am talking should be an eyeopener??

Dear Ram,
Nothing can be helped out...!! We cannot protects our skins just by taking their signatures.. we also are a part and parcel of the game..!!
Only the blame game on HR can be avoided to protect our images among employees... so that we can face them rather than putting our heads down in front of them for the blame is on our heads..!!
Think over..!! you have the support of Management on your side wherein they cannot tell that HR is the one responsible for all the anti-employee poilicies... Just coz all the circulars & other notifications will have HR signatures... Its not fair that we need to tolerate all the blames and be a scape goat.

Dear Mr Ram,
My suggestion is as under.
You have to work as per management policies even if it keeps changing.
It will be possible to hold ON till workers get the upper hand, if at all if they get.
The break point to quit, will come if both management and workers gain upperhand over HR.

In the study of management, you study various management styles like autocratic, democratic, politicking.......etc etc...
The crux of matter is none of the mangement style is ideal nor any of style is useless. In such situations, you also need to act politically..........
Next questions come How? Better dont seek any outsiders suggestion as he will be in least contact with reality. Evolve your way out!!!.
I can assure you, there is a way out ....and there is a great lifetime learning waiting for you...........
Don't loose heart, give your 100%......

Thank you so much for your valuable learning Reply from your end As you rightly said this is a challenge which i am learning which definitely stands firm in my Career.....But i never broke my Heart I was thinking why the Attitude of the management is like this even though i am protecting them from loosing the Harmony between Employees...
