Hi, 4 years ago, i was appointed with a media company at the salary of Rs 5000 per month. But my take home salary was something around 4400 or sometimes 200-300 rupees more than that. Now i want to know, was there any ESI deduction and PF deduction in my salary? if yes, kindly show me the amount that was deducted for ESI and PF.
Secondly , after 6 months , when i got an increment for my performance, my salary was raised to 8000 thousand. Again my take home was something around 6000 +. So here again i would like to know what was my deduction amount .
Again after 6 months i got a 100 % increment and my salary became 16000 p.m. Here my PF was deducted ( Rs 1650 per month).
Now, after i left the company 2 years ago, i filed for my PF, but came to know that although a lion\'s sghare was deducted from employee\'s salary in the name of PF and ESI, those a,mount never got deposited in thew PF office, except for a month or two. Kindly let me know i can i get baCK MY DEDUCTED AMOU

Hi Mr. Amit. Thanks for your response.
Answer to your queries:
1)I received my salary as bank transfer.
2) The company never provided any salary slip to their employees and no body knew their salaray breakup, as in appointment letter they did not mention about the break up structure.
3) yes, i received the appointment letter and the second increment letter. They did not provide ant letter for the first increment. No, nothing about salary breakup was mentioned in these documents.
No idea as 1650 was employee share or employer share. ... my advocate and one of my colleague told that 1650 amount was deducted for PF purpose.

Hi Zia,
It seems that You were never covered under PF AND ESIC.Or else you must have the PF AND ESIC No.If it is there it will be easy for you to know that from which date you are the member of PF and ESIC and thus the actual amount deducted against these statutes. Also if you are covered belated during your services period under PF AND ESIC then you can raise the issues with appropriate authorities. As under the these PF and ESIC act it is mandatory for employers to cover their employees for PF AND ESIC subject to certain predefined conditions of the act.
Thanks
