The current contribution period is from 1st Oct. 2021 to 31st March 2022 so even if in the meanwhile the salary of any employee exceeds Rs. 21,000/- you will have to continue ESI deduction till the current contribution period is over. The employee will be eligible for the corresponding benefit period from 1st July to 31st December 2022.

To my understanding that the query what will happen if we contribute even for salary above 21,000.00. If I am right there may not be any problem while making contributions, but the employee may be denied any benefits under the Act, as the contributions are made against the provisions of the Act.
Hope some seniors may through light on this matter in this direction.

Dear Madam,

1.If you are paying beyond Rs21000/- legally not valid as per esic act.
2. If management knows beyond esic payment limit they may be scold you. it will leads to terminate the job also.
3. ESIC offcils also know the above said issue maybe denied the benifits as per act.
4. Your comapny audit may object beyond limit payment esic.

I dont know your relations with management.

This is my sugestions.
