Dear CiteHR family sir's,
As we are know ESI Wage ceiling is 15000/-. The wage measns all Regular wages/allowances accountable for Rs.15000/-.
Whether attendance bonus,shift allowances, production incentives will account for ESI wage limit 15000. Our area ESIC branch manager is stating these components also count for wage limit of Rs. 15000/. As per my knowledge these components will not account. Please clarify & share your views regarding this issue.....

Hi, yes he is right all the components payable monthly needs to be included in the calculation

Any head you will give in salary component which you are paying as monthly salary all head are consider for E S I wages celling. J L Trivedi. Ahmedabad
