Hi
your organisation is covered under shops and establishments act and follow the leave rules under the act OR folloow the new trend in the industry.
The Present trend in IT industry is bascket of leaves (BL), credit to all full time employees, permanent, temporary, probationers. BL means there would be only one type of leave : you may call it as annual leave.
To compute the leaves depends on the no of actual days company scheduled to work in a calender year /10days and credit leave days on completion of each quarter in following qtr. if someone joins in middle of quarter, he or she would be credited proportionately.
you may have education leave to encourage employees to enhance acdemic qualifications which is usefull to company business.
