Dear Experts,

I am running my office from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, working 8 hrs a day with a break of 1 hour. The break is split into three times, such as 15 minutes morning coffee break, 30 minutes lunch break and 15 minutes evening coffee break. To add, I have 2nd and 4th Saturday as holiday and other saturdays as Half day working from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm with morning 15 minutes coffee break. All sundays are holidays.

Please clarify if it complies to Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishment Act. Thank you in advance for your time and advice.

regards

Since the spread over (time including the intervals of rest) is not more than 10 hours and 30 minutes and the actual working time is 8 hours, this is okay with reference to law.
