As far as EPF is concern it should be deducted on Basic+DA/VDA+Food Conc. if any as far as ESIC is concern it will be deducted on gross salary (inclusive of all allowances). The cealing for ESIC Should be Rs. 15,000 pm inclusive of all allowances and as far EPF is concern upto Rs. 6500 the deduction of EPF is compulsory.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Sumit,
In a new company they have prepared appointment letter but the thing is that the new benefit is provinding by the management is that is mobile sim card. The thing is that now the management is telling that we have negotiated with an employee a salary of Rs. 10000/- pm. now we have to show the amount of sim card benefit in the Gross salary of 15K.
Is there is any problem if we show mobile amount which company is paying to the employee Rs 250/- pm..
If any problem in ESI also as gross salary is increasing by adding mobile bill of Rs.250/- pm. can u please suggest me.

Sumit,
Our Management is not accepting any CTC they are telling that when we are talking to the employee salary it will be only Gross and that in gross itself we have to show mobile allowance / SIM card benifit which our company is providing. But i am in afraid whether there is any problem or not because mobile reimbursement is not a part of salary which we want to show in Gross Salary. My doubt is can we show mobile allowance in Gross salary. When i have discussed with my management they have told that have told that mobile allowance is a part of benefit which we are showing in Gross salary and a part of Salary. Sir please guide me in this regard. Can we do like this. Is there is any Statutory problem in this like ESI etc.

Sorry,
It is not mobile reimbursement it is mobile allowance which we are showing in other allowance which will be fixed during salary generation period and will not deduct from the employee salary process. But can we show mobile allowance as in Other allowance is there is any Statutory problem.
