Dear Kiran,
Those who do not quality an interview should be answered as below:
"We are in process on conducting interviews of other candidates for this position. Uptill, next week, we shall give a call to the selected candidates for final interview. If you receive a call from us, would mean your selection for further process and not otherwise. So, thanks for appearing for the interview."

Dear Kiran,
First of all, Please go through the candidate profile properly. If any mistake or improper format of profile you can reject them. You can reject the candidate for the following points.
1. The way of presenting the interview
2. Based on the marks
3. Based on the skills and communication
4. Not strong in the profile (ie) frequently changing the job from one company to other company.
5. not having valid reason for resigning the job
6. If the candidate planning to do higher studies you can reject them etc..
