Thanks Suganya for your respond. She cannot pursue her higher studies as full time. She would like to do it in correspondence like MBA... Pls suggest your opinion.

Dear Bharthi,
Which field of work is she interested in ? An admin experience should help her to move into an HR, once she completes MBA. Managing admin and account, makes one good to be trained in HR Operations. She would have a larger perspective to how these processes are intertwined, with crucial information from that area.
She may even consider MBA finance and move into a hard core finance role. This may include marketing if she joins a bank. Finance roles are largely into managing operations in BPO or KPO. Incase she joins the Finance KPO , it may differ from managing capital market to insurance.
Incase she have the option to consider , a Fellowship would be an upgrade. She can apply for one in AHRD, other university which may offer a part time program. This would require higher dedication, but would be worth the effort.
Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks for your valid opinion.
She have already completed her Master of HRM, which is equal to MBA HR. So can you suggest her some other post degree other than MBA which will help to improve her career at present organisation.

Dear Bharathi,
What I feel is, she can rather think of dedicating either in Finance or in HR depending upon her area of interest. She can go for courses(correspondence) like MBA in finance or PG diploma in finance, CA, ICWA etc... in finance. In HR, she can concentrate on some areas like "diploma in Training and Development", "diploma in Recruitment and selection & Compensation Management", and the like..
These above are the few courses which i mentioned. There are many specializations in each, to know more about this, she can go for some university correspondence course offices. To mention a few, IGNOU, Symbosis etc... she can also visit university websites and get ideas about the same.
Then, she can be a specialist in any of these and can be an expert and she can enjoy her job.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Bharathi
This is a stupid question you are posting on behalf of your friend !!
Your friend is Bcom + MHRM and has 8 years of experience !! After acquiring so much of education and experience your friend is not sure what to do next ?? ... which field to pursue higher studies ??
Dear Bharathi ! please dont be mad at me !! instead of looking for reasons here and there, and from other professionals, she must look into her own strengths and interest !!
Read the advises here, Finance.. HR .. this.. that !! .. This advises are wonderful but would it apply to her ?? what does she want ??
I dont wish to dig too deep into human psyche !! but your friend is afriad of taking her own decisions !! Does she needs some external justification to decider her future !!!
and whats with the chase for academic courses and certifications to enhance a career !! .. she is fairly educated !! Bcom+MHRM .. has she done justice to this investments ?? and now want to pledge more resources (time, effort and money) into chasing another higher studies (which she is not even sure which one !!)
If she wants to catapult her career prospects, she may better pay attention to skill building !!
Communication Skills (Writing, presentation, public speaking)
Career Specific Skills (Eg : Auditing, A/C ERP, Budgeting, Forecasting, SCM, MM, Negotiations, Cost Accounting, Business Modelling, Valuation, Feasibility Studies, Market Research, Equity Research, Compensation & Benefits)
Computer skills (MS office Applications, Internet, A/C ERPs : SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Peach tree, Tally)
Wish her luck and Strength !!
