Dear HR Friends,
I am back with an issue since long time here.... Assistant Directors of Factories referred a candidate for interview but he is not sound in knowledge but even we considered and selected him but his expectation is twice what we provide so we finally communicated the same to Assistant Director of Factories so he is threatening and using very harsh languagei know defnitely he may trouble us in future in case for inspection and issuing us renewal for license so what steps to be taken on him legally and if he comes for inspection i know it would be a back fire i expect many HR Gems to give me an important decision to be taken... I have several plans in my mind i see if many it can be discussed here can be valuable for the citehrians and i do share the same my plans in the upcoming posts.....

Dear Ramkishore,

I feel it would be better if you hire that person & put him under trainee. Tell that candidate that he need to prove himself in probabtion period(6 months), even though he was not upto the mark in interview. Tell him clearly that if he fails to show his performance then he gonna be sacked. Let him commit few mistakes while he is in probation period(6 months). Lay down the strict rules to all the employees & ensure the candidate follows the same rules. Give him 2chances & third time just fired him with a detailed explaination letter. But this all procedure may take 2-4months. So, that means you have to pay him the salary for 2-4months. But Asst. Director should feel bad by recommeding that particular person. So, you should create a very bad strong impact on that person.

If you think all this method is not required & you may want to go against Asst Director of Factories then you may face terrrible problem. We being a HR person always try to build up the strong relationships with all. "Be good do good & expect good from others."

Dear Mr.vinay Kumar,
I think if we recruit him for an higher salary comparing to others the whole organization gets affected because of this specific guy because he is expecting twice what we provide for the specific post and mean while Asst Director called me and said the same salary because of it we he had threatening so your idea can suit if he is not referred by Asst Director of Factories because legally we cannot fire him as soon as we think because you know the fact... Thank you for replying... I expect many valuable suggestions as vinay kumar suggested...

Dear Ramkishore
The idea of the Asst.Director Factories is to get a job for this person, and not to get him employed in to your organization, I believe.
So the best solution is, to ask your director to use his pulls and contacts to get this person employed in some other company, of some business associate.
This way your problem will be solved, meanwhile try and and document each and every conversation and communication you have with this Asst.Director Factories, this will help you to keep a check on him when need arises.
If he persists in his demand, then approach Anti corruption bureau.
I understand the situation, but believe me it takes considerable inner strength and conviction to stand against corruption , but believe me being honest upright and ethical is best known contentment in a human life

Dear Octavious,
I had discussed the same what you have discussed like i have several networks in Bangalore i can refer him and place him in any other concern so he told thank you for your concern you can technically speak when i come for inspection... I have a big network i can place him in any other concern but the problem is his brother is working in neighboring company if he is recruited in your company it sounds great i told him we have very good intention in recruiting him for the salary what we fix but Asst Director is not compromising
And thank you for your ideas and views the approach to anti corruption bureau sounds great but yesterday i get to know from admin manger that this guy he is very close to the Labor minister and has power from center in what way could solve this i do not know????

Hello Ram kishore,
I have an idea, why dont you recruit him and keep loads of work pressure on him from the day he joins. so that he himself runs away from your company. it may cost you 1-2 months of his higher salary but your problem may get solved.

Dear Ramkishore
I know a person, who was under great pressure from whole government of India, I think many of us would have even supported his cause.
His name is Anna Hazare.
If corruption has stop, we have to being from us, not wait for others. Be brave talk to your management, and then do the needful, ministers cant help when judiciary and media intervenes, they too have save their skin.
Talk to your higher ups, if they ok, then put a fight take a stand and then proceed.

Dear Ram kishore,
Tell me frankly what is the position your offering him & what is the experience does this guy has? & tell me wht salary you are offering him. Pay him the same salary what your paying to others. If not tell him(Asst. Director) clearly that as per our company policy we gonna provide only that much salary if not we may pay him somewhat more like 2k-3k more. We gonna again increase the salary after 3-6months till that time ask him to be cool.
Tell him(Asst. Director) politely that we can offer him a job but regarding the salary we may not fix & its upto management. Whatever they decide the salary will be finalized. Leave the rest to Management & ask him to talk to your management so that you could not get involved in this business. But still he refuses to accept the proposal then tell him that we are really sorry sir. What ever you want you can do it.
At last i feel Silpa's statement seems to be good. You can go ahead with that.

Dear Ram
What Silpa says is correct and it will work so don't brother about the Assistant Director of factories. Select the guy and put in the department where the work pressure is more and inform the department head to keep an eye on the person(if that department head is loyal) otherwise create the pressure he will runaway it will work. Don't worry my friend .
Nothing is impossible in the world, only one we would not do i.e we cannot give live to the dead.

Thank you Mr.Octavious
for such a positive motivation i ll definitely turn up to the cost no one is above law thanks in that regards for remembering i can dare any official if i do in his case i will try to meet all my statutory requirements and see that there should not be any loop holes...
In the mean while thank you partha sarthy and silpa for your suggestion think about the candidate he did not do any mistake only referred by Asst Directors of factories because he has already lost his father we should empathize the situation as it should not affect him and more or less he is a fresher...
