Hi Everyone,
I am an new entrant. I browsed through and found all the topics interesting and very much useful. I am happy to be a part of the group now. I am working as a HR Executive for a Co in Bangalore. I have to frame a good leave policy. The Co wants to give a flat 16 days leave without categorizing it. I would like to know everything about a leave policy and what are the mandatory facts which I need to adhere to while framing the policy.
Thanks and regards,
Aruna

Hi Dasa,
Thank you so much for your reply. Your information was very helpful. But i need some more information about the framing leave policies. As i had mentioned my Co is not interested in categorizing the leaves. Can you throw some more light on this.
thanks,
Aruna

Do we have rule that Notice period should be deducted @ of basic only or it can vary from company to company
As we are redoing the company policies can we work out Notice period on gross looking at a high rate of attrition in BPO’s
Is it possible or we have stander/fix law to have notice period deducted @ of basic only
