Dear Ravi,
I just want to know, why you went for distance programme? Are you working somwhere?
If you are not working than firstly join somewhere, dont divert mind. Even job then after dual specialization you might face the problem of experiance.

Dear R Bora
Please take my words in good spirit, you mentioned that you have completed your MBA-HR in Distance learning. I m sure there must be HR subjects, concepts and loads of knowledge gained during this course, now please ask yourself few questions such as :
What have you gained from this course?
What additional skills you have acquired which makes you different than Non-MBA?
Please understand MBA = Masters of Business Administration, it is supposed to be a highly regarded course to enhance your business acumen. Those who claim that they have completed MBA in So n So specialization are to be regarded as Masters in that Speciality chosen, that is why they demand good salaries, positions and benefits.
So having completed MBA you shall show maturity and understanding of field you wish to pursue a career in. You mentioned in your post that it would be tough to get a job because you are fresher, it is not true. There are jobs for anyone who is willing to work, you need to just search for it.
Involve yourself in job search rather than worrying whether you are fresher or not. Focus on your skills, education and interest which will get you a job, Time will tick, don’t waste it thinking. Act now. Go out and explore the opportunities. Research companies, Understand the job profiles, apply, go for interviews.
Consultancy or Corporate : First research the job profiles in both areas and you decide which will be best for your abilities and likings, Also keep this in mind, job market is a very compettetive place, so there are many more applying for jobs. Don’t be so choosy, make a smart decision.
Dual Specialization : I don’t understand what is the real benefit of Dual Specialisation One can focus his / her time, effort and money on one specialization and aim to achieve some success in that field. Running after 2 specialization doing justice to neither of them.
First master one field, and then as per the career graph think of doing something else. We just go on adding education certificates, degrees, diplomas and Zero Knowledge, skills or aptitude.
Think about it my friend, what dual specialization will benefit you? Have you done justice to your HR specialization yet !
Stop running behind this meaningless efforts of bulking up your educational resume, learn real stuff from real world. Get experience, work practical, learn practical, make money.
MBA is like a Shampoo offer - “ Do MBA HR and get Finance Specialization @ 50 % cost and Get Career Placement Guidance Free Free Free” Grab the offer before seats are filled .. because there are many Pappus who will buy this !!
