Hi all, Since business scenario is not good our management is decide to extended the probation for all employees. Can any one send me the format of sample letter for probation extension?

Dear Centhurvelam,
You may design your format and the content will be that "on reviewing your performance management has decided to extend your probation for another___months".
You have to deliver these letters before the completion of probation of your employee. The letter should be short and precise with date and reference number along with the signature of authorized signatory.

I think we can’t extend the probation of the employees because of our business scenario , unless it is because of the employee performance issue. Seniors can you please correct me about this.

I agree with Vani, extension of probation should not be ground because of business scenarion, becasue when a perosn is on probation so company has to review his individual performance only on the basis of that managment may confirm or extend probation period of particular employee ,for group of employees it is not legally correct ,managment may postpone annual increase that is accptecd for all employees but probation cant be extended as such.
